アートホテル小倉 ニュータガワ Art Hotel Kokura New Tagawa
- Fukuoka > Kitakyushu City (Ogura・Hachiman・Moji)
This part of Kyushu has classically been at the heart of many crossroads. From here you can enjoy great access to Kitakyushu City Ogura-Kita-ku gateway as well as JR Ogura station, which is a connecting station between the Kagoshima Main Line and the Nippon-hon mainline, as well as the Shinkansen (bullet train). There is also easy access to the monorail! There are also many exhibition halls in the area, and conference halls too, all within the vicinity of Ogura Castle. Nearby you can find Shiokawa and Katsuyama park too! Enjoy slipping to an earlier time while staying in Ogakura. The guest house was originally owned by the local coal miners, and the garden was first established 120 years ago. It is an 8-minute walk from JR Kokura Station south exit and a 2-minute walk from Monorail Day Spa. It is 40 minutes by car from Kitakyushu Airport and access from Honshu is smooth making it a convenient destination for business and sightseeing. To stretch your legs a bit, you can find many tourist attractions. Moji port retro district of Kyushu, the 1,068 m long suspension bridge connecting to Honshu, and Kanmon Bridge is worth a visit. It also has access to Ganryu Island, the stage and setting of the battle between the master swordsmen Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro, as well as artificial beaches that remind the fight. Why not visit a town which is colored by history and culture from our hotel as your base? Due to city ordinances, accommodation tax will be separately levied on hotels in Kitakyushu City from April 1, 2020. Please note that you will be charged the accommodation tax. * Accommodation tax is not included in the total payment. * Even if you choose the advance card payment, you will be charged the accommodation tax separately at check-in. 200 yen per guest per night
