Overview

[Countermeasures against the new coronavirus] Do not lose to corona! We prepare a lot of contents that can be prevented while enjoying the stay

Kiraku Kyoto Higashiyama is a whole rented ryokan with a theme of washi paper which stands quietly in the back alley near the Shirakawa river which runs through Higashiyama of Kyoto.
It faces the nationally designated cultural property, the then Namikawa-tei which was built during the Meiji era. The lounge looks over the Japanese garden made by the hands of the 7th generation Ogawa Jihei, the white and red ume washi art which decorates the bedroom and the semi-open-air bath of Shigaraki which is nestled in the inner garden are all exceptional even in Kyoto.

The hotel is located at 3 minutes walk from Higashiyama station and is near the Heian shrine, Nanzen-ji, Shorenin, and Chionin which are all Kyoto's scenic spots. If you extend a little more, there will be the elegant Gion of the ancient city.

How about a sip of sake at the bar counter where you may view the Japanese garden while feeling the slow flow of time?

Read more この度は大変お世話になりました。 コロナ禍にあってチェックイン、チェックアウトも従来と異なる方法に変えたと伺いました。電話でのチェックイン、予めご連絡頂いていたお陰で難なく宿泊できました。 Uber eatsでデリバリーをお願いしようとしたところWebサイトに記載の住所では位置検索できず、フロントの方に試して頂き、検索可能な住所を教えていただきました。無事に美味しいお料理を調達でき、友人との記念日旅行を充実したものにできました。 フロントの方には色々ご相談し、その度に丁寧にご対応いただきました。ありがとうございました。 気になった点。 トイレ、洗面所、お風呂の脱衣所が一緒なので、大勢で宿泊すると同時に使えないので不便かと思います。男女で一棟お借りする場合は注意が必要です。 キッチンのフキンがないので、手を拭くのも、お皿を拭くのも、ティッシュか、自分たちで準備したタオルでした。紙のフキンをご準備いただけると助かります。 また、ウェブサイトではパジャマがあるように記載されていますが、実際にはありません。事前のご連絡で承知しておりましたが、サイトの記載を改めておいた方が良いと思います。

Thank you very much. I was interested. I think it's inconvenient because I can't use it at the same time as many people stay because the toilet, washroom, and bath changing room are all together. Be careful when renting a single building for men and women. I didn't have a kitchen towel, so I used to wipe my hands, wipe the dishes, a tissue or a towel I prepared. We would appreciate it if you could prepare a paper fukin. Also, although the website states that there is pajamas, it does not. As I knew from the contact in advance, I think it is better to change the description on the site.

We are checking in using the telephone installed at the inn entrance.

A room guide video will be sent to the registered email address at the time of booking.
