Overview
Located in the Showaka valleys of Gokoyama (Five mountains), this village was once a resting area of the capital city. Now the color of the river only reflect to Yumetsuzuri. As you enter you see Tatami mats widely spread out in front of you. The mats you walk on without shoes will make you feel extremely comfortable and the smell will make you feel as if you are in nature. Each room is named after the traditional Japanese colors. As each color is different, each room is different. The color of your room assists you in making your own memory with us. The water in the spas comes from the nearby Shonokawa hot spring. Enjoy the seasonal view while you soak your body in the bath to relax. Yumetsuzuri offers you a “delicious feast”. The menus change each month with seasonal ingredients from the mountains and sea so you can fully enjoy the colors of the dishes as well as taste. The guest rooms, the bathes, the nature of Shirakawa – Every corner of Yumetuzuri will make you experience the seasons.
