The baths surrounded by nature uses Ikaho Onsen's natural hot spring, Kogane no Yu. It is said to have been discovered around 1900 years ago, and its long history is represented in old Japanese anthologies of poetry. Although it is actually clear, because of the iron content in the water, it becomes brown once it comes in contact with air. Even on rainy days, don a woven bamboo hat and get into the bath, and you are sure to experience a relaxing time as your worries ebb away.Read moreClose
