At Shimoda Yamatokan, everyone can enjoy their stay in Tatado with peace of mind. The following measures are being taken as a preventive measure against the new coronavirus infection. ● FE clean water is used to sterilize and disinfect the guest room, lobby, and public bath before check-in. *Staff always carry FE clean water and try to disinfect it during the stay of the customer. *FE clean water is a weakly alkaline aqueous solution containing sodium hypochlorite as the main component, which is obtained by electrolyzing saline, and is used not only for sterilizing rooms but also for cleaning and sterilizing food. I can do it. ●Staff wear masks to contact customers. Gloves will be worn in required departments. ●The staff takes temperature every day at work. Staff with fever symptoms will not work. ●The front counter has a splash diffusion prevention measure. ● In order to avoid crowding, we will guide you to the seats at the restaurant, skipping one private room or one table. ●The use of day trip baths is suspended to avoid crowding the large public baths and to avoid admission to the general public. ● To prevent infection from the staff to customers, customers are required to move cars by themselves. ●Please refrain from entering if you have a fever. Children's Onsen A catalogue of items for babies and children that can be rented is available. We take requests for items before the day of your stay or on the day you check-in. Mixing containers, diaper pails, steps, baby bathtubs, baby chairs, baby toilet seats, dishes, cradles, and swings are available for rental at no charge. At Kid's Corner on the second floor baby bottles can be disinfected for no cost. Porridge for Babies can be prepared for 300 yen (tax not included.) *If a porridge is necessary please mention so in the Comment box when you make a reservation through Relax. All guest room baths, bathrooms, and all hotel baths use onsen water. Infants three months and older can bathe in the onsen. Consult a physician if there are any questions. *Swimming suits are not needed when using a hotel bath. Ocean Spa ‘Namioto’ A spa beside the sea. You will further relax listening to the ocean as you receive an aroma oil massage. Treatments for the body, the face, the head, and the feet are available.
