Thank you a lot for your hospitality! We have enjoyed many ryokans until now, but Nishiya's bath is No. 1 in Nototsu! And the hall where the cleaning is perfect. A flower that has been casually added! I was healed from my heart! I will repeat it! you have to! Thank you for the wonderful space!

Shirafu Takayu is a great hot spring that I heard from my brother when I was a student of elementary school, and I wanted to stay once, but Nakaya and Toya were burned out of three cases a few years ago, and Nishiya became. I was impressed just by staying in the inn, but the old nostalgic room and the bath with the Yutaki waterfall were amazing. The dinner and breakfast are also traditional Japanese kaiseki, and both the mass and just for the elderly couple are good. The Tengendai and the Shirabu Otaki, which I visited for a walk, were also close to the hotel and were tasteful. It is an inn that I would like to visit again if I have a chance.

It is a historical, tasteful hotel. I think that the building is old, but it was cleaned and I could enjoy the furniture and the decorated flowers one by one. The hot water was also outstanding, and I enjoyed the hot spring that dances in the hot spring. It was a fulfilling hot spring trip. The consideration and ingenuity was so smart that slippers were different in each room. The degree of satisfaction was personally perfect, but I thought that what was desired for the hotel would be different depending on the person staying, and I made the evaluation of the bath and the facility 4 in order to avoid any misunderstanding. It follows the old-fashioned treatment area and has no shower. As it is an important cultural foundation grade building, there is no elevator. As the largest room is at the top, you need to assume three steps of stairs. I love the signboard cat, and I want to make a long trip and take a bath trip next time by all means. thank you for helping me.

The Yudaki Bath of Nishiya is the oldest bath in the Shirabu Onsen district, and dates back to around 300 years ago when it was shaped out of the granite from Mount Azuma. Although small and lacking in taps, it tells the history and culture of hot spring customs, and it has been carefully maintained without any renovation works throughout the years.
Guests may find the lack of modern plumbing inconvenient, but your understanding is appreciated.
Relax in this extraordinary setting, overflowing with character.
The Yudai Bath is available for day-use as well as to guests of the ryokan.

Please note that Nishiya strictly regulates the use of fire at the premises to prevent tragedies like the large fire that burnt down 2 ryokan in Shirabu Onsen in March, 2000. The traditional scenery created by thatched roof ryokan that was famous throughout the country was destroyed in a heartbeat.
Old traditional Japanese houses cannot withstand fire, and cannot be reconstructed due to modern fire safety regulations.
Therefore, smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises with the exception of the designated smoking area.
Your understanding on the matter is greatly appreciated.
