ときリゾート 箱根別邸 Toki Resort Hakone Bettei

Resort
Toki Resort Hakone Bettei / Kanagawa Hakone 23

Overview

Hakone is known as mountains of the gods in myths.
Hakone Shrine on the shores of Lake Ashi is the one that unites the belief of the Hakone Mountain Range.
Lake Ashi was called as "Hakone Gensen Mitarai" until the Edo period and is considered as a sacred lake that rituals are held.

About 40 minutes by car from JR Odawara Station. Turn left at the lake, you will see the ruins of Hakone Sekisho (checking station) and cedar trees along the way, As you go up the mountain path through historic sites, there are eight Japanese ryokan-style cottage scattering on the hills. The Japanese style building of 2,500 tsubo (8264sqm) is Hakone Bettei.

In all eight buildings, Lake Ashi view spreads out below the guests from the living room, terrace, and bathroom. It is a structure overlooking the mountains surrounding it. For making this view possible, the hotel think carefully about the height of the floor, doors and windows, and the length of the eaves.
Lake Ashi, as a caldera lake of Hakone volcano, is blessed with seasonal nature. In spring, fresh green sprouts all at once. In summer the early summer breeze cools the water.
In autumn, autumn leaves decorate the lake. In winter, the mountains are covered by snow. The transition of the season is reflected by the natural vies in Hakone. You will never get bored by the varying view.

Wake up with the birds singing from the trees and relax in an open-air bath. It's a good idea to go out for a walk around the area after having a meal in front of Lake Ashi. Mt.Fuji view is magnificent from the lakeside promenade. Sunset at Lake Ashi reflected on the clear water is also a fantastic vista.

Enjoy the luxury time of doing nothing.

To get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and return to your true self, you could live your time relaxingly and get charged for tomorrow.
