It is a building of approx.95m² which was used as an office of Iwaki Zosen. It is a wooden one-story building and is of a red tile hip roof. The scratch tiles that cover the exterior wall symbolize the style of the early Showa era and the taste of the owner can be seen. The recyclable waste (debris of wood) is collected from the wood wholesaler such as the leaves and twigs from the lumbering as well as fallen leaves, grass and bamboos collected from the bamboo grove which has not been managed during the winter season. They are burnt in the wood boiler which is used for clean energy heating of the whole Kihinkan. The hot water supply may be managed throughout the year by the wood boiler depending on the condition. Holes cannot be made for the preservation of the cultural property therefore during the summer, the living room and the master bedroom will be air-conditioned if necessary. From the backdoor facing the inner court, the access to the warehouse is great and may be used only by guests staying and supporting members. You may experience a private elegant space.
