[Notice of extension of closing time] Due to the extension of the emergency declaration, we will postpone the restart of business from May 7 for about one month. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. We look forward to welcoming you again. Bring together the lifestyle of Northern Europe and the Japanese heart together: That is the thought of HOTELLI Aalto. The name "Aalto" means wave in Finnish. You will be overwhelmed with the waves of Omotenasi (hospitality) from the nature of Urabandai which they call “Fortune sharing.” The preparation for our guests is based on Urabandai, Fukushima, Japan. The main wing is constructed with wood. It is a large roof just like bird wings and was refurbished by three well-known Japanese architects 40 years ago. In July 2019, a new separate wing and guest lounge building, as well as a public bath was added, so the enjoyment to be found at Aalto grew even more. Each of the 17 guest rooms, including the villa, has its own character. Your stay will be complemented by seeing the collaboration of Northern European culture and locally grown ingredients. One of the “Fortune sharing” features of Aalto is traditional Kaiseki style natural dishes. Each dish served in “Diner Tagokoro ” is made with locally grown ingredients and offers a rare yet nostalgic taste.
