Bath

One of the highlights of Tsukihi House is the open-air bath from which you can gaze at the garden.
The bathtub was made by Hiromichi Takahashi, a pottery artist from Yamagata Prefecture. The shape and color were decided with the help of an architect before the house was renovated.
Takahashi was very particular about the rim of the bath. It is where you hold onto while getting into the bath, and once you're in, you can rest your neck on it. This particular part of the bath was designed to fit comfortably with your body. The exquisite blue pattern was formed by melting 2 types of glazes.
Please enjoy this unique bathtub and a have relaxing time.
