- Iori Machiya Stay
A stay in Kyoto where you can live like a resident. If that is your wish, Iori Machiya Stay can grant it for you. A whole Kyoto townhouse will be rented to you for your exclusive pleasure. Spend a leisurely time at a machiya as its owner for the time. The Izumiyacho machiya is located next to the Kamo River while the Minoyacho machiya is situated opposite to the Shirakawa Temple. Once as a pace for merchants to take a break or doctors to reside in, it existed in old-era Kyoto. The Zaimokucho machiyas are next to each other on a narrow alley. Each are more than a century old and the spaces inside the townhouses are lit by sunlight that softly seep in. Both are comfortable lodging for Iori Machiya Stay's guests. The beauty of the old-era has been carefully preserved while modern facilities have been added for guests' comfort. No curfew exists for the guests. One of the perks of staying with Iori Machiya Stay is that it allows its guests to spend as much time as they like exploring Kyoto during the day and at night. Iori Machiya Stay can accommodate even those who are unsure about staying at a traditional Japanese townhouse. A concierge well-versed in the culture and the allure of Kyoto is available to provide services ranging from finding cultural experiences and events to attend to making reservations for meals and taxis. An experience of living as a resident of Kyoto is the luxury Iori Machiya Stay offers. To be someone who lives in a machiya, for the time being: It is Iori Machiya Stay's way of handing down and preserving the traditional Japanese way of living.
