Overview

Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is located in historic Higashiyama where temples and shrines are lined up. This hotel is a quiet urban oasis centered around an 800-year-old pond garden which is conveniently located within walking distance to Kiyomizu Temple and Gion.

Read more 非常に混雑していたこともあると思うのですが、スタッフの方の声掛けが少なく、このレベルのホテルに泊まった割には特別感がないように感じました。特に朝食の際は朝食付の場合どのように注文するかや子供の取皿の準備、飲み物の依頼等頼むのが難しい状況になっていました。おそらくもう少し余裕があればよかったのだと思いますが、せっかく泊まったのに残念でした。

I think it was very crowded, but the staff didn't say much, and I felt that there was no special feeling for staying at a hotel of this level. Especially at breakfast, it was difficult to ask how to order with breakfast, prepare dishes for children, request drinks, etc. I wish I had a little more time to spare, but I was disappointed that I stayed there.

Read more 受付で4時間弱待たされました。 準備できたら連絡すると言われても連絡がなく、受付で何回も確認してやっと準備していただきました。 荷物は部屋に運んであると言われましたが、部屋に行くと荷物はなく、信用がなくなりました。 連休で忙しいのもわかりますが、このようなことははじめてで、連休最後で台無しにされてしまいました。 忙しいなりに対応があったと思いますし、フロントだけの責任ではないことも承知していますが、もう利用したいとは思いません。

I had to wait a little less than 4 hours at the reception. I was told that I would contact you when I was ready, but I didn't get in touch, so I checked many times at the reception and finally prepared. I was told that my luggage was being carried to my room, but when I went to the room, I had no luggage and lost my credibility. I know I'm busy with the holidays, but this is the first time I've done this and it was ruined at the end of the holidays. I think I was busy, and I know that it's not just the front desk's responsibility, but I don't want to use it anymore.

Read more 庭園、プール、ブラッスリーでの夕食、朝食など従業員さんのサービスも良く、とても楽しい日を過ごすことが出来ました。最高の思い出になりました。 ホテル入口、フロント、エレベーターホール、各階のエレベーター前、ダイニングテーブル、部屋など至る所にアルコールが備え付けられていました。 従業員さんは全員マスクをされていますし、プールも人数制限をしており、ガラガラで安心して楽しめました。更衣室でも他の方と出会すことはありませんでした。 朝食はやや人が多い印象でしたが、大声で食事する方もおらず、ホテルの対策や方針が宿泊者にも浸透している感じでした。ありがとうございました。また是非利用したいです。

Employees' services such as garden, pool, brasserie dinner and breakfast were good, and I had a very enjoyable day. It was the best memory. Alcohol was provided everywhere in the hotel entrance, reception, elevator hall, in front of the elevator on each floor, dining table, and rooms. All the employees are wearing masks, and the number of people in the pool is limited, so I enjoyed it with peace of mind. I didn't meet other people in the changing room. I had the impression that there were a few people at breakfast, but no one ate loudly, and it seemed that the hotel's measures and policies had permeated the guests. Thank you very much. I definitely want to use it again.

The brasserie restaurant overlooks the 800-year-old famous garden "Shakusui-en" from a 9-meter high window. Located at the lobby level on the 3rd floor, Lounge & Bar is a place where you can enjoy a conversation with specially made pastry chef's special sweets and afternoon tea along with a selection of house-blended coffee and tea. Kaede
"Kaede" is a sukiya-style building standing on the edge of the garden "Shakusui-en". You can enjoy matcha and Japanese sweets during the day, champagne and special sake at dusk. Spend a luxurious time indulging in a famous sake while enjoying the four seasons of Shakusui-en.

Sushi Wakon
"Sushi Wakon" has won 1 star in Michelin Guide Kyoto/Osaka 2019. It is a Edomae Sushi that inherits the taste by the Michelin-starred Master Chef, Rei Masuda.
