Kinosaki Onsen opened about 1,300 years ago. In Heian period, this place was a haven of nobles. Nishimuraya Honkan is one of the best Japanese inns in Sanin area, an old establishment with 150 years of history. The founder of Nishimuraya is Nishimura Sahei. He started the inn in Ansei era during Edo period, when he inherited a manor house. This establishment has a series of impressive architecture on its site, which entertain our eyes. The annex, Hiratakan, is designed by late Masaya Hirata, who devoted his career to Sukiya-zukuri architecture. It is registered as a national tangible cultural asset. The gastronomic dishes to enhance your stay are made from local ingredients in Tajima. Have a blissful culinary experience with Tajima beef and tanner crabs. Relax your body and mind in the historic hot spring loved by writers. The hot spring of Kinosaki is known to have a healing property since the beginning of the history 1,300 years ago. Why don't you visit this old establishment whose spirit has never changed since its opening?
