Ukiyama Onsen

The hot spring with the choisest view on Izu Penninsla

Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

A resort development was going on at the southern tip of Jogasaki Bay, Eastern Izu in Shizuoka Prefecture, when the hot water sprang out. It is mainly provided to holiday homes. There are three inns.

Jogasaki Bay is made up of cooled lava from Mt. Omuro. The intricate shoreline over the deep green water is one of the best scenic places on the east coast of Izu Penninsla. It's adjacent to Izu Kogen (Plateau) with various touring facilities, a convenient base for your trip.

On a clear day, you can see the sun rising above the Pacific Ocean and sunset over the Mt. Fuji.
