Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

Yubara hot spring resort is known as one of the Misaka-santo hot springs along with Okutsu hot spring, and it is located upstream of Asahikawa flowing into the Seto Inland Sea through the center of Okayama prefecture with China Mountains as the source.
In Yubara hot spring resort which is ranked in the "Yokozuna of the West" in the outdoor bath rank, there is the symbol hot spring of this resort which is called "Suna Yu(Sand hot water)" that blows up the sand of the river bottom.
While it is an old-fashioned mixed bathing outdoor bath, it is a specialty of hot springs as it can taste the real pleasure of outdoor bath.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

There are five hot springs in Yubara hot spring resort such as Yubara, Gouroku, Notani, Ashi and Maga, and Yubara hot spring is the representative of hot spring resort.
Because Tatara steel making has been done in Yubara hot spring area since the Tumulus period, it is said that the people who worked for Tatara steal making was enjoying the hot spring which was flowing naturally.
The quality of Yubara hot spring resort is a simple hot spring, which is said to be effective for recovery from fatigue, muscle pain, autonomic instability, insomnia, depression.
