Nikko hot spring is a hot spring which is located like watching over in the temple town of the Nisya-ichiji, such as Nikko Tosyogu, Rinnoji Temple, and Futarasan jinjya shirine which are registered as a World Heritage Site as "Shrine of Nikko".
There are plenty of inns with a central focus on Nisya-ichiji, around the Nikko station to Yutaki, and near the Kirifurikogen.
Not to mention Nisya-ichiji, as well as from Irohazaka to Kegon Waterfall, Lake Chuzenji etc. It is in a very convenient place to visit not only Nikko but also a number of sightseeing spots representative of Japan easily.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

Long time ago, there was a legendary hot spring which was called "Muso no yu(Hot spring in the dream)" by Kobo Daishi,and it is said that Nikko hot spring which was discovered in 1987 should be the one.
Quality is said to be a simple hot spring that is gentle to the skin and good for relaxing tiredness, and it is said to have efficacy in autonomic instability, insomnia, depression, etc.
