Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

Onneyu Onsen is found in Kitami City in eastern Hokkaido. In spring, rhododendrons adore mountains in purple, in summer, white lupine beans bloom in white across the valley, and in winter, the untainted snowy plain spreads before your eyes.

As in Taki-no-Yu Onsen and Ponyu Onsen that make up Onneyu Onsen-Kyo, you can splash the genuine natural spring water on you as much as you wish here.

On the shore of Saroma Lake, there is Wakka-no-Yu that has sprung up in Saroma Lake Tsuruga Resort.

Saroma Lake is also known as Saroman Blue. Relax in the hot spring, while watching the deep cobalt blue turns into gorgeous red as the sun sets behind the lake.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

Onneyu Onsen was opened in 1899. Onne in the Ainu language menas big hot water.
