Nikko-Yumoto Onsen is renowned as “A retreat in the back of OkuNikko”
The Hot spring is located in the back of the hot spring town where plenty of hot spring water gushes out.

It is surrounded by rich nature including well-known mountains such as Mount Shirane, Onsen-dake, and Mitsu-dake. With the views of the dense forest and the calm lake in far back, allow yourself to bath in and relax in the tranquil space.

For sightseeing, you can visit Senjogahara which is a huge wetland, and Lake Yunoko which was made in a crater after the eruption of Mount Midake.

Hot spring water of Nikko Yumoto contains rich metasilicate that is effective on whitening and beautifying skin, neuralgia, and rheumatism.

This hot spring celebrates over 1200 years of history since, Shodo Jonin, a Buddhist monk, found in 788, who had built Nikko Sanrin-noji Temple.
