Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

Akizuki Onsen is located in Asakura City in Fukuoka that had flourished as a castle town between Kamakura period (1185 -1333) to Edo period (1603- 1868).
There is a hot spring inn at the mountain foot that offers not only a great bathing experience but heavenly delicious cuisines.

This castle city has kept its traditional townscape and is nicknamed “Little Kyoto in Chikuzen.”

Various sightseeing activities are available here including visiting Samurai Residence and Akizuki pottery manufacturer, rice paper-making experience, to name a few.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

It is a natural hot spring and its spring water is mild with a little thick touch that moisturises skin. that moisturises skin that moisturises skin.

With high alkaline level of pH.9.6, it is mild on skin and works great for senior people and babies.

As the temperature of hot spring water from its source is as low as 31C°, spring water is heated up to the right temperature for bathing.
