Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

The sandbar that separates the Sea of Japan and Kumihama Bay is a place with great scenery named as "Shotenkyo". It was also named after Amanohashidate, for the similar beautiful scenery with white sand and Japanese Black Pine.

The Inn where you can enjoy the Onsen and the seafood and vegetables of Tango nearby Shotenkyo is Kamai Onsen.


If you go a little further away from the Onsen, there is Konotori-no-sato Park and the originator of Shotenkyo, Amanohashidate.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

There are 7 guestrooms in the annex. All guestrooms have an indoor spa made out of Japanese cypress with overflowing Onsen water and an outdoor spa made out of firebrick.

The Onsen is a Turbid Chloride Spring that retains warmth. It is known to be effective for coldness, peripheral circulatory disorder, cuts, dry skin and depression.
