The Onsen located by the passageway to Geku, which is also the entrance to Ise Grand Shrine, is Ise Geku Sando Onsen, the first Onsen in Ise.

As it is located in front of JR Tokai Line Sangu Line Ise-shi Station, you can give in your bags and take off your traveling clothes and visit the shrine following the traditional custom, "Visit the Ise Shrine from the Geku".

After visiting the Geku, don't forget to visit the Naiku, and explore around Okage Yokocho. Please enjoy the delicious Akafuku and Ise Udon also.

Effects and characteristics of Hot Springs

Ise Geku Sando Onsen in an Onsen that opened in 2013. All guestrooms not only come with an indoor spa but also an outdoor spa as well.

The Onsen is a Alkali Hydrogen Carbonate Spring which is known as Bijin-no-yu (Spa for beautiful women). It is also effective for cuts, Peripheral Circulatory Disorder, coldness and dry skin.
