Tateshina Onsen
Cool Breeze Scents the Onsen Resort on Plateau

Introduction of Hot Springs (Onsen)

At the foot of Mt. Tateshina lies a hot spring resort. Tateshina Onsen, Takinoyu, and Shinyu along Takinoyu River make up Tateshina Onsenkyo.

Tateshina Onsen has been cherished as a health resort. Visitors rejuvenate themselves in the breeze on the plateau, the sunlight dancing through the trees, birds’ songs, and the river’s murmuring, while sinking in the blessed hot spring.

Cherry blossoms popping in the last snow, alpine plants praising summer’s arrival, mountains dyed with red leaves, frosted trees sparking on the snow – the beautiful nature welcomes you in any season here.
