June 2019 We renewed the observatory bath “Tenku no Yu” on the roof of this building. A new observatory bath has been created to minimize the obstruction of views, such as Mt. Wakuya, the Sea of Clouds, and the sunset at the mountain ridgeline. -------------------------------------------------- ----------------- “Wake-no-Yu Onsen,” a hot spring resort that springs up in the mountains with no commercial facilities or hot springs We want you to enjoy the cobalt blue and cloudy hot springs quietly at the auberge surrounded by silence ... With that in mind, in May 2019, we decided to refrain from staying for children under elementary school age from the new era replacing Reiwa. -------------------------------------------------- ----------------- There is a 50-year-old small auberge located in one of the hot spring resorts called Hage no Yu Onsen. Creative dishes using seasonal ingredients from a local small country and Kumamoto prefecture are: "Small country French" dishes that mixes Japanese with French style. We also offer wines and local sake that greatly match with ingredients of the day. This hot spring is a mysterious hot spring that changes color depending on the color of the sky. In particular, the “Ten No Yu” on the roof is reflected on the water surface of cobalt blue. Moreover, the mountain ridge and the sunset are just in front of you. Milky white or pale blue hot spring contains a great amount of metasilicic acid. Please enjoy the beauty of natural hot spring.
