原瀧 Harataki

Harataki / Fukushima Aizu 12

Harataki is one of the few inns in Aizu that offer gensen kakenagashi onsen that continually flow from the source hot spring.

The inn owns its own source hot spring located near the Yukawa River’s downstream. The onsen that has been loved by locals since ancient times still retain the character of the social scene that it once was. It passes on to the modern era the spirit of the old-time onsen. The open-air bath uses onsen water that continually flow from the inn's own source hot spring. Gaze at a plenteous waterfall and feel the caress of the wind. The scenery that changes with the seasons can be seen from the bath will make your experience more exquisite.

Enjoy meals at the kamado dining room. Guests are free to choose what they want from a selection of local foods cooked using the kamado or the sumiba. The inn's kitchen's homemade item that can be ordered will be brought to your seats. Homemade aperitifs, appetizers, sashimi, and hot-pots are available.

Another lure of Harataki is the enchanting kawadoko, a summer-only attraction.

Dining under the moonlight while listening to the sound of the river, feeling the soft breeze. There could be no more splendid time. If travel is supposed to provide an escape from daily life then your dinner during your trip should also. Enjoy an indulgent al fresco evening meal with someone special surrounded by nature.

Indulge in onsen water flowing directly from the source hot spring and seasonal delicacies at a inn nestled among the nature of Aizu. Harataki will make you forget the passage of time. A luxurious stay there with a special someone will satisfy your soul.

~ Ryokan staff all day The same day as the day-to-day, I was indebted to the cherry blossom season, and thank you for spending time with it as a memory. Careful and delicious dinners have been part of a time of unforgettable trips that fit our age very much, and they are often talked about by two people that they want to revisit the Aizu Ryokan to Aizu even after returning . Thank you for having a good time. This time, I made a present for my parents as a memorial, and I was impressed by the love from the Hara Ryokan, including my parents, and it was a wonderful memory. I'm grateful that I really decided to be a Hara Ryokan. We would also like to see you again. We are quick and easy, but I would like to say thank you. Again, thank you very much for taking care of me again this time.

案内された入った部屋がタバコ臭かったので急な変更希望に対応して頂きありがとうございました。 できれば予約時のプラン名や備考欄等にお客様の希望を聞いて頂けると良いと思います。

Thank you for responding to the sudden change request as the room you were guided into was smelling like a cigarette. It would be nice if you could hear your wishes in the plan name or remarks column when booking.
